Magic Fly

I feel the need to state the obvious here: that stellar exploration will necessarily require orbital refueling of some sort.

In other words: a vessel with minimal complement launches into low-Earth orbit, where it receives fuel from an orbital depot, and then travels to the Moon, Mars, or beyond, where it is again refilled by waiting fueling stations in preparation for its voyage back home.

Without the above logistics, a journey through our solar system becomes far more precarious, and far less achievable.
